peace and hotep,
iyah360, if the marketeers, etc. were good gauges of the sensibilities of the target markets of Americans, popular culture in amorica would still be in a pre-desegregation mode. africans in amorica have re-shaped and even molded this society. every hue has contributed to that work in progress- the destruction of western civilization. the predicted 'lynch'isms are necessary and long awaited subjects of debate or reasonings. however, they must not become the bearers of assassination as in the case of malcomn or martin.
iyah360, my african mother birthed several hues withe in our large family of eight children by two african fathers. my youngest brother is 'yellow', my oldest brother is 'chocolate'. same father, characteristics and mannerisms. who has the right to deny my younger brother the acclaimations that he deserves based on his lighter hue. regardless of how this overall society see him, ones cannot destroy his qualifications. as a teacher and a coach, my brother serve in those capacities at one of the toughest urban school systems in amorica. the kids whom he become mentor for knows his missions and that is all that is important.
