Barbados and the Carribean in general is EXTREMELY impacted by the policies of the U.S., so IMO it is not at all out of line for ones from the Carribean to comment on the state of U.S. affairs.

Exactly. What you do in Barbados effects me in the USA. That's why I have every right to discuss it. If this reasoning is valid for you, it is equally valid for me. I, therefore, have every right to comment on the Barbados situation.
