******What is the best way to do that other than the written word? ********
The way our non-writing indigenous brothers and sisters have been doing it for thousands of years. There is nothing to "lose" or "forget" when your truths are based upon Nature and not someone's version.
You don't need a book to help you remember how to swim if you get in the water everyday. Indigenous people are harmonious with Nature if left alone. What does texts/scripts do for them?
There is nothing inferior about oral tradition, is there?
Even with the writing method in place in Kemet, the knowledge used to build the pyramids was not passed down. Yet you can find people TODAY who have never been exposed to any writings who somehow do not kill, steal, covet or have sex with beasts. You do not need writs if you are nature-oriented. Nature is your "bible".
Humanity and decency did not just all of a sudden appear with the invention of writing. So why would any culture need it unless their traditions were tampered with. And the only people whose traditions were tampered with were ones who were invaded by writ-wielding outsiders.
That holds true ANYWHERE on the planet.
