I thought I read that you were saying that books, which is a written form of communication, is responsible for choosenist, elitist mentalities.

i am saying that the choosenist, elitist mentality already was in existence. They used the written to further boast that mentality. It is not the writing in itself that fosters the mentality. It is the intent of the person behind the writing.

When you talk about writing, how can we seperate communication, which is why writing came about?
