Communication has everything to do with interpretation, sematics and meanings.
Written language is not the culprit. It is the intent behind the written language that is the culprit.
Just like hierarchy, politics, and technology, written language, is merely a tool/system/structure to accomplish a particular intention...in this case, communication.
It is not right to blame a form of communication but rather the intent behind the communication....be it confusion or edification.
