Greetings Idren
I notice that some on this forum like to make general statements like "Black people/Afrikans are Israelites? To I, it would make sense to say that Israelites are Afrikan/Black. I am not saying I agree but it makes better sense because Afrika and Afrikan people were in existence long before the mention of Israelites.
When it comes to an Afrika and Israel connection, it usually comes from East/North East Afrika.
When it comes to Afrikans in the west, nearly all our ancestors were taken from West Afrika, where there is significantly less semitic influence...from a jewish perspective anyway.
Who can tell I how/why black people in the west have become obsessed with being Israelite stock when clearly, our roots come from the western part of the Afrikan continent, where their is less Israelite influence.
I am not coming from a "spiritual Israel" angle either
It kinda reminds me of how black people in America like to say they have indian/native american blood.
It has been proven genetically that the majority of black people in America have no Native American blood.
Peace
