It is all good sistren. You dont have to like my reasoning.
I am not here to live up to your expectation...nor are u to live up to mines.
If you think that it is productive to sit and quarrel everyday, then that is fine. I think InI have to start looking at similarities instead of differences. Otherwise, InI will continue to remain in the same situation.
This is the willie lynchism that I am talking about. Bickering about differences. Light skin vs. darkskin...plantation vs plantation, etc.
It is sad when ones feel so much self hatred that ones have to quantify and qualify blackness by the shade of another black person's skin.
Where does the mental and ones work for the liberation of other Afrikans come into play? Isnt that most important?
InI know that white people have historically hated InI because InI possess something they dont...melanin. They are still chasing after InI golden fleece.
Now must InI impose the same thing amongst ourselves?
Everyone is not at the same stage of overstanding. Everyone has not had the same life experience.
Therefore, it is ignorant for you to think that everyone will think the same.
You could and would help more if you were trying to edify instead of tear down. I dont condone interracial unions but I will not reject the children from those unions because it is not their fault for what their parents did. If that makes me an intergrationist, then so be it.
I am familiar with black love. I know that there are times when you have to be harsh. There are times when you have to be nurturing as well. That is Black Love to I.
I have been down this road before when it comes to discriminating against ourselves. It is counter productive in my opinion
Black wi black....whether InI are as light as morroccans or as dark as Ugandans.
At least that is how I view black people.
Give thanks for your response
Blessed
