Re: Questions

I would never disagree with one who sights Haile Selassie as a MANIFESTATION of the Almighty Power. I was taught that all forms of life are a MANIFESTATION of the Almighty Power.

However, I was also taught that the eyes of a living being cannot look at/into the Almighty Power. In my language, to look is 'wo', this word (wo) also means to enter. The word for sight is 'ri', ri also means to overstand (like you would say in English 'I see') and to descend : it describes what happens when you put a solid object into a body of water. It sinks, and it keeps going till it touches the bottom.

The Almighty Power is a boundless ocean. It has no beginning and no end. And, one who looks at/into It will not come back to tell what he/she saw.

Think about it : for one to be able to prevent drowning, one must be able to exert personal power against the natural force (within the ocean) that pulls solids inwards. If a man says he can exert his own personal strength against the natural force of the Almighty, then that man is claiming equality (or superiority) to the Almighty.

So, if the Almighty is unknowable to our senses, then, can it be wrong to say that whatever is knowable to our senses can only be at best, a MANIFESTATION?

What differentiates the manifestations however, is the level of consciousness at which each one occurs and it's purpose.

As far as the 'lighter is better' thing goes, I do not think anyone here said ones should be discarded solely on the basis of skin-tone. What has been raised is what has been observed and proven time over time. Which is that, just as some people will unconsciously enjoy the benefits of the 'good-will' the 'white' system bestows upon them solely on the basis of being born 'white', so, some Africans have enjoyed 'loved one' status solely on the basis of thier brown/red/yellow skins. They have enjoyed this status, not just from the 'white' system, but also from other Africans.

Anyhow, I will not say more on this because I'm about to start repeating myself.

Wisdom and Strength.
