Re: The New Liberians
In Response To: The New Liberians ()

Karibkween
Honour

You took the words from my hands.

There is no alternative rather than to say the reason some wish to sweep certain issues under the carpet is either because :
1) They already profit from it.
2) They have prospects of profiting from it.
3) They are afraid.

Now, I do not mean fear in the physical sense, this is worse. This is a kind of fear that has not even looked for a way out from under. This is a fear that makes a people accept the definitions of reality that were created by thier enemies. The enemy defines what is justice and what is injustice, he defines what is war, how to fight and what is peace. The enemy defines what victory is and when you have lost. What religion is and what superstition is. And they accept, because if they do not, then they will have to return to zero, admit that "I know nothing" and start all over again. But, life is so short, therefore, "forget that".

The last thing Africa needs are more products of the mis-education factories of the waste. Take a good look around you, there are already enough continental Africans in wastern universities learning non-practical rubbish.

"Economic Models Of Development" - This would be good, if there was actually one single nation on this Earth that could be described as being developed (in the true sense of the word). The varying 'Economic Models of Development' that are being pushed in our direction have this in common : What is called 'development' is not based on the citizens level of awareness about thier environment (and the way thier choices impact on it).

The Development Index provided by most models is not obtained by weighing the positivity of these choices.

No, what is called 'development' is the level a country has reached in it's INSANE CONSUMPTION of finite earthly resources. So, amerikkka, because it eats the most and can destroy the most, is called 'a superpower'. And, China and India, because they are also on a similar route to mad consumption, are referred to as 'coming powers'. This, we are told is 'the real world', 'deal with it'. But, when did this become reality? And, we should also ask the people who believe this fake reality is going to last forever what natural law their assumption is based on.

We had a minister in nigeria declare his dream of seeing nigeria become the China of Africa, while South Africa becomes the Japan. There, ladies and gentlemen, is another mad man. We do not need any more. And, the earth does not need any more amerikkas, Chinas or Japans.

Like I said before, we have come to this crossroad before, and each time, the mixed HERITAGE Africans decided to go away and do thier own thing, form thier own nation and call it Tutsi, Fulani, Amhara, hebrew, arab, Creole..... It is not the first time. This is how the world came to be filled with such a variety of species.

Rastafari is an African liberation movement. Rastafari is about spreading love and unity between all mankind. Looking at this current reality, can you see the contradiction between those two statements?

All these born-again hippies, missionaries and thier 'native' porters need to be put inside a bottomless hole.
