Re: Black/The Perfect Black
In Response To: Re: Black/The Perfect Black ()

Eja,
The wise man will realeyes that he does not know everything.

The ones who professes to know everything is a fool and you should cast him out.

I dont claim to know what is good for everyone.

I dont claim to know everyones REALITY.

I can only present what is REALITY to I.

Ones can talk all they want about light black vs. dark black, "pure" black vs. "mixed" black.

But regardless, it is division no matter how ones want to look at it, especially when ones are not even given a chance to show where their heads are.

Babylon decides that lighter skin is preferable to darker skin.

I guess InI will follow suit and qualify what the establishment has defined for InI as OUR truth (in the context of black people).

I would seem logical for ones to reject what babylon has defined and try to define us for ourselves.

But it is all good.

Nothing personal Eja. I typically enjoy your reasonings. I enjoy Kelani's fire and Ayinde's rational thought.

But I will agree to disagree on this one.

Not that colorism doesnt exist.

I am disagreeing on whether InI should qualify it.

I cant just cast another black person aside because they are brown skin or light skin.

We would have missed out on the light and brown skin people who have made sacrifices for InI to be here now.

I think Afrika has to unite.

Unity doesnt mean that everyone has to think the same.

Unity doesnt mean we all have to be of the same faith.

Unity doesnt mean that we all have to be the same shade of Black.

Unity does require balance, reciprocity, love, truth...respect....overstanding....

Unite we stand, divided we fall.

Blessings and love
