Re: Questions
In Response To: Re: Questions ()

It is the hypocrisy of your type that makes me laugh. Practice what you preach. Turn the other cheek.
--------------
you are silly. what do i preach eja? you seem to know so much about me from a few words i post.
--------------------
Be more like the jeepass crass you love so much.
-----------
who is the "crass," you refer to. who i love so much? family, idren, life, africa, art, HAILE SELASSIE, YES.
----------

If I make statements like I know them to be facts, and if you know better, bring the facts to disprove what I say.
--------
you have yet to state a fact. you dont know mw and you have already told me who i love. the fact is there are many idren that LOVE HAILE I SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI. THAT IS A FACT FOR YOU. I am one of those idren who love and glorify in the wonderful name of Haile I Selassie Jah Rastafari, InI Chant the beautiful name of InI Counselor and Redeemer Haile I Selassie, Jah Rastafari without apology. InI love to go to the EOTC when I can and surround Iself wit Ithiopian bredrin an sistren. InI love to reason and eat ital and fufu w/bredrin and sistren from Sierra Leone, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria (much respect to bredrin Weah, and the other candidates and people of Libeia), another fact is that I dont even mind going to an African Christian church-if I can go there and iditate with bredrin on their terms. Another fact: I dont even mind reasoning w/ my Somali idren about Islam. See the difference b/n a bredrin like you and I is this: I deal w/ the fullness of idren. I dont start and stop my judgement of idrens based on their belief system. Instead of elightening ones about, what it is you find strength in-you deal w/ trying to disprove as wrong, what other ones find strength in. I dont get down like that.
---------
However, if you see what I say as opinion, and you say everybody has a right to thier own opinion, then, why not just state your own opinion and leave it at that? No, you attack my 'opinions'.
--------
i did not attack your opinion. i labeled it as a tribalistic, diatribe meant attempt to discredit a particular ethnic group while simulatenously trying to elevate others as superior. We are all African.
-------

And when I respond, I am ....what? Why does your sort always cry out when you get a taste of your own medicine?
------
what sort am I?

Who/what I worship should be clear to you if you had followed this thread and the ones that led up to it. But, you probably don't have time for that. Too busy doing ...what?
---------
well since you asked?! Im busy raising my youths and trying to be a good husband. Busy trying to help my bredrin who happens to be from Sierra Leone keep a school that he founded here in town afloat: www.upperhands.com / while working with the idren to send 40 ft containers full of computers back to Mama Africa. The bredrin that I work with is a devout Christian, puttin in work. period. I could give a damn who he calls His GOD-cause he is using his resources for righteousness, which makes him GODLY, seen.
Spending my time and going into extreme debt in grad school trying to learn as a diasporan how I can work in community development and humanitarian administration on the continent-so that maybe one day soon, idren that have nothing but love for Africa, may be making decisions in organizations like the UN. Spending time trying to form coalitions with the National Planning Commisssion in Namibia to coordinate community development interventions in rural areas-where a large majority of folks are (gasp) Christian. How or why they became Christians is not my issue-my work entails working for/with the people on their terms. At the end of the day, Ive got to deal with my own soul. More power to all people that live righteously irrespective of their religion.
-------
What have I done for 'our people'? I could say anything, like some do here, but, since there is no way of proving me right or wrong, I will say nothing.
-----
you can put all that energy in talking about the Amharas, and Semites-but cant tell us what work you are putting in. Its not boastful-I would rather read about tangible works that philosophical never ending debates.
------
That being said, I have a lot of respect for your intellect. It must have taken great mind gymnastics to be able to twist your whole-hearted embrace of alien ideology into a shape that resembled self-pride.
-------------
are you reffering to the "ideology" of Ras Tafari. you seem like a hater to me.
-----------
Otherwise, how can the one saying "realise and be proud of the totality of yourself" be the one who has the inferiority complex, while you, trojan horse for an alien fraud shall be called "a true fighter for the betterment of Africa".
-----------
what?
-----
"How we pray has no bearing on how we fight...."
What exactly is it that you understand the act of prayer to be? This is the biggest hole in the awareness of you brain-washed lambs.
-----
flattery will get you nowhere.
-------------
Generally, for you, prayer is kneeling down in front of some icon begging for the money to fight HIV, money to build bridges and money to mis-educate.
------------
is that right eja? next time you are in Ohio, I will show you the fullness of our work. Better yet, Jah willing you can check I in Angola or Namibia next summer. the fullness of Rastafari sons and daughters will soon be revelaed.

IN PEACE
HAILE SELASSIE JAH RASTAFARI
