The problem is when comments are made about His Majesty being an inferior African because he is of a lighter shade & therefore this "cannot be the Pure Blackmans God"..& then calling yourself a Rastafarian..(give thanks to Bantu Kelani for clearing up her stance, Ayinde & others..Eja still has not said wether he claims to be a Rastafarian or not)...
"Ras Tafari Makonnen was a man. He was born from the womb of a woman. So what does that make HIM? He HIMself said that he is mortal and will be replaced by oncoming generations. Yet u and others have a problem when someone states that he is a man? A main one on this board is the one saying that a man is not a Rastafari if he doesnt sight Haile Selassie as the creator of the universe, even though there are groups to this day that hail Rastafari and do not see him as the Irator of everything."
...InI is not saying that His Majesty is not a man of course he is a Man(Flesh) like I have stated before I have no limit on the Most High so to me He can manifest Himself in flesh born of a womb...but this is my personal view...I am not saying you have to cite His Majesty as the Almighty Creator to call yourself "Ras"
....what does have to be clear is that Haile Selassie I is the Head of the "Rastafari" movement without His Majesty in the Rastafari Movement it becomes something else...it is no longer Rastafari
