Re: Give us the teachings of His Majesty

Good point you bring up brother concerning the path set by Haile Sellassie. I recall there is a site called In the Footsteps of HIM by Ras David.

In it Ras David points out HIM's acheivements as a man of diginty and endurance.

If one has read the two autobiographies and the book titled The Wise Mind of Haile Sellassie once will most definitly get a glimpse of HIM's life in detail as far as he wanted the read to get and of course his speeches outline major paths man will trod during his life be it education government ect.

To walk in his example in praiseworthy. It uplifts the souls of man and his mind. But too many the the Rastafari movement focus too much on the spiritual aspect and don't pay much mind to the material part of life.

Him was a worrior a politician and a devout christian. He maintained his faith even during the hardest times of his life and fought for the dignity and respect of Ethiopia and all Africans. To me thats the Rastafari way because that was Ras Tafari's way.

A few people that label themselves Rasta or Rastafari don't live to that example and it is the easiest trod to walk in my view because unlike Jesus Ras Tafari was a real human being whom many people had the pleasure to meet. There are Documents from his time that give testament to him and his life and kingdom yet not to many people under the banner of Rastafari actually trod in his footsteps. You understand what I'm trying to say Brother?

Shalom Aleichem.
