Re: Give us the teachings of His Majesty

I give thanks for sharaing the wise words.

What strikes me the most from the wise mind of HIM:

"We seek Africa's economic growth and development, the betterment of the way of life of Africans and all men".

I think that is what we all seek, however economic growth and development has become an elusive reality in Africa. The African Growth and Opportunity Act is just one of many international economic ideas that have had an adverse affect on the lives of the citizens of Africa and indigenous businesses persons. We are importing most of commodities needed to survive and exporting the raw materials that could create the very items that are being imported at expensive prices.
More focus must be generated to create a sustainable and varied manufacturing infrastructure that is competitive. I believe that the combined efforts of continental Africans and those of I in the Diaspora have the ability to create such an infrastructure. We have examples from other nations that we could use as a model by which could be reformulated to meet the needs of Africans. Although there are many notable problems with the manner in which Asia treats its workforce, the mechanisms and processes that they utilize to manufacture goods, can and should be replicated on the African continent; by and for the benefit of Africans. Currently there are Asian (and Uropean) multinationals operating in Africa that is solely for the benefit of foreign nations. This trend can change if wise minds collectively develop business ideas and investment strategies.
