Rastafari Speaks

Re: Principles Of Rastafari People Are Fading Away

In the year 1916, Marcus Garvey read a book called up from slavery, which was written by Booker T. Washington, a African Liberator who was born in the USA. after reading that book, he was so impressed with the contents of that book, that he wrote to Booker T. Washington, and make arrangement to meet with him is the USA.

In that same year 1916, Dejazmatch Tafari Makonnen, was made Crown Prince of the Empire of Ethiopia, and was elevated to the Title of Ras. Marcus Garvey being an African Liberator was a well read man concerning the affairs of African people, so, he was on top of all which were taking place in Ethiopa at that time, so, before he boarded the ship to the USA, to meet with Booker T. Washington, he told all of his followers who were members of UNIA. that Ras Tafari will be Crowned in Ethiopia, in the not too distant future, and that black people should look up to him as their leader. Acoording to historic records, Leonard Howell, Joseph Hibbert, Archibald Dunkley and Robert Hinds, were all members and followers of Marcus Garvey and his movement. And so, those four African patriots, who were considered, to be the first Rastfari people in Jamaica, I repeat the first Rastafari people in Jamaica, picked up the baton from Marcus Garvey, and carried on the struggle and cause of the Rastafari people, which is Africa for Africans those at home and those abroad. So, the seeds of the Rastafari people's movement was planted in Jamaica by Marcus Garvey, but it never grow up until in was watered, by the Coronation of Ras Tafari in the year 1930. I also wish to say, that the Ras Tafari movement did not originate in Jamaica in the year 1930 as it has been rumoured, but it instead started in Ethiopia, on the 1st of November 1905, when Ras Makonnen, called his son Tafari Makonnen, and gave him the title of Dejazmatch, when he was only 13 years and 3 months of age, so, that made him Governor at that early age, so, after assigning to him a tutor and assistance to help with the administrative work, Ras Makonnen died six months later, and so Dejazmatch Tafari Makonnen, was in charge of his fathers Army and his administrative work, and he learned much from his elders since, he use to drink the waters on humble-standing. So, that is to say, Dejazmatch Tafari Makonnen, had thousand of followers, as early 1905, and when the Coronation came about in the year 1930, that following over flowed into the Island of Jamaica, and other Caribbean countries. It is well known on this forum, that when I post a post, it is posted for the benefit of our international African audience, not for any individual. The journey of life continues. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE
Baba Ras Marcus.
