Thanks for your post, as usual you are always posting a needy document which is very much related to the subjects. The Universal Negro Improvement Association is full of organization guidelines, but the Rastafari People's movement really do not have guidelines as it relates to becoming a part of the movement. Anyone can just easily walk into a Rastafari people's gates and become a member, without any rules and regulationss, as it relates to the organization principles. If you can memorise the splams of David, and can qoute a few scriptures especially from the book of Revelation, you maybe allowed to smoke the peace pipe, and you can hang around as long as you want after all this is done.
There may be some Europeans who have come to the conclusion that it was wrong to enslave African people, and they may come to the gates of Rastafari people bearing gifts, hoping to start a correction process, but they should be told there and then, that their gifts are regarded as mini Reparations, which they owe to African people there and then, and individuals should not take these gifts for themselves, they should be made know to the Rastafari community and should be used for community purposes. The Europeans should then be told, that their efforts to start a correction process, on behalf of their ancestors and themselves are welcomed, but they cannot take any leadership roles in the movement, considering that African people are still in captivity, and are abondoned in the western hemisphere. The elders in the gates should not be afraid to tell them that their gifts are nothing but small reparation payments, and that they should not think that the organiztion, are the elders owe them any favors. The journey of life continues. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self
determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE
Baba Ras Marcus.
