Hmm.Depends on what you are defining as 'culture'.
In this aspect I am talking about culture in general.Culture like how you pray, how you think, cultural practices ect.
Yes.I do understand history. And yes I do understand that there must be a difference between Africans and others.Yes all that you say about the history is true.
Are you somewhat obsessed with the physical realty of what has happened so associate your self with the past actions in an inbalanced and extreme way?Im not saying 'hey what happened is not such a big deal',its the worst thing that has, and is still happening on the earth at this time.Im not saying that what has happened does not create a huge difference in the cultures of the African race to other races.Of course it does.
Im saying yes, that reparations should be given should be sought.Balance to imbalance. All Im saying is that maybe you over associate within the Rastafari movement, what has happened ON EARTH to your racial group and so see that EVERYTHING is about the past and the aspect of ancestoral memories and creating balance in the 'here and now' for the future.Sorry,I dont think that everything in Rastafari movement is totally about the justice movement of it or that there arent any other relatable aspects of it to all races and humans in general. An over emphasis of one thing usually creates a blinding to another.
Looking for forgiveness and reconcilation? From who, you?I am amused and interested why you beleive it is relevant to 'get' forgiveness and reconciliation 'off' you??If youre saying - to get reconcilation is by righting the wrongs of the ACTIONS of the past, then that can only be met with action.Thats not personal, thats just a job.I can see that if you only associate people with their racial history in the movement then thats all forgiveness and reconciliation is to you- righting the wrongs,(by actions)of the past.
Answer me this.Is that all reconciliation and forgiveness is to you?
I thought that it was forgive but dont forget.Forgive-healing of the heart,
Dont forget/remember-memory of the mind.
I dont require your forgiveness in this aspect. Is it an assumption on your part that I am 'white'(which Im not)and that Im seeking acceptance from you?I
Answer me this,How much do you beleive that you use the Job part to not relate to other men from other races in a personal way?To not see other Rastafarians from other racial groups in a way where there is not imposed, this huge, 'Rastafari is all about Black liberation job,so you cant practice it in the worship sense,LIKE US'?
So why did all those nyahbingi reps go and set up in other countries and the people of different races accepted?same as with twelve tribes and bobo.I never see any - no whites allowed signs on the church or taba.
I guess if its ALL about being African, though, youre holding that cookie and theres nothing else right? I must be looking to have a peice of that cookie that is yours and because I cannot accept that I am not African and want a peice of your cookie(as it seems you beleive),I am really involved in Rastafari movement to get acceptance, forgiveness and reconciliation off you(who holds the cookie) to feel better about my racial guilt, right?
I mean, thats all spirituality is connected to,right,RACE?Theres nothing more between or in common with one man to another??
