Politicians are generally opportunist, their intention is to put themselves in a position to live off tax payers money, and to have control of brute force in whatever ways they can. They are always fighting so hard to get into office, because they steal the people's money and also take bribes for doing political favors for rich corporations. They can make themselve and their families and friends rich as long as they are in office, so they fight hard to get in, and when they get in they do not want to come out.

Micheal Manley was a career Trade Unionist, and he had carried on trade Union work for a long time in the Island of Jamaica. I think the name of his Union was the TUC which means Trade Union Congress. If I am wrong I stand corrected. There was one time that he led a demonstration about something, and he laid down in the street, in front of the Jamaica Broadcastion Corporation. So he was well known because he was the son of one of the greatest Barrister in the region, Norman Washington Manley, who was also the Prime Minister of Jamaica.

Micheal Manley paid a visit to His Majesty and was given a rod, and at the time of his political contest, he wave that Rod at political meetings while calling his self Joshua, or maybe the people gave him that name, but he used terms like IanI will bring Justice to my people, or Iman will work to make things better for IanI, you know what I mean, and the people were very influenced that he speaking the words of grass roots Rastafari people, and another thing which was helpful to them, was that Peter Tosh had a new song out, which was called "You Must Get a Beaten" and played that song at every political meeting which they had, and had the people singing and dancingto the rythim, and so with all the promises, and the Rod of Joshua, and that IanI and Iman talk, they won, and it was a great time of changes in Jamaica, the changes are still visible today even as we speak. The politicians have been fighting for power ever since, and thousands of people have been wasted and send to the cemetery, and this kind of fighting for power and killing each other, can be found every place where you can go, upon the face of this earth today.

As for the Grenada situation, it must be understood, that Rastafari people are not just known by an appearance, and that there were many people wearing locks in those days, who were not really Rastafari people, according to life style and attitudes, they were just people who like to wear their hair locks sometimes, and sometimes they don't. Even in Jamaica, there were a lot of young people who were wearing locks in political times, who were not Rastafari people, but were just youths who got caught up in politics, because they were poor, hungry, homeless, deprived and desperate, but they did not know the first thing about Rastafari people. So in the Grenada thing, I do not think it was Rastafari people who were involved, for Rastafari people as I know them to be, are very peaceful people who are waiting on His Majesty for Redemption, but they were some people, who had the right to wear their locks, because it is a part of their living structure.

As for Reparation and Repatriation, there is a power in this great Universe, which give us rain in due season, Sunlight, heat and cold, fruits on the trees for us to eat for nourishment, fresh for us to breathe which is the breath of life. This same power cause Tornadoes, Vulcanoes, Hurricanes, and all manner of omnipotent manifestations, this same omnipotent powers, will find ways and means, to cause Repatriation and Reparation to be manifested, the wait may be long but African people wont wait forever, Justice shall flow like a mighty river one of these fine day. This work will not be done by any politicain, the omnipotent powers of this Universe, will cause this work to be manifested in due time. As the rain drops fall upon our house tops at the appointed time, so will the omnipotent powers, appoint some one when the time is ripe, to carry out the sacred works of Reparation as well as Repatriation at the time appointed. Just keep the resitance in the struggle going, with vast amount of self determination.
