I am not trying to nit pick. I just found it strange that after all that the elder talked about, you point out that he did not say "give thanks to Jah".
The elder Ras Marcus have been involved with the Rastafari movement for 50 years. Chanting, "Give thanks and Ises to JAH" all day could not compare to living the Rastafari experience and doing Rastafari works for so many years.
Especially when it was not popular and fashionable to sight up Fari as it is today.
