There is no separation between socio-politicalness of Rastafari and its spiritual-mystical essence . Rastafari deals with the totality of the human being . When at work or at home you may behave differently to suit/fit the circumstance but you remain the same person . Who you are will always come thru no matter the mask/facade you chose for situation you are in . Just as the head and the foot belong to the same individual ,so it is that the spirit and the social life of the individual is initimately related . what affects one affects the other for it is the same body -hit you toe or your head you suffer the same pain .

Only the europeans try to compartmentalize the body and the sphere of life , while trying to let it appear that what affects one does not necessarily affects the other - this is not the way of African wisdom . Your whole entire life is one being- you

Once you have proven yourself able and capable , then you become "Earths Rightful Ruler , Jahs Representation and Divine Authority" . It is not a birthrite conferred on you because of the circumstances of your birth . This POWER is not passed on by holding a special scepter, by sitting on the throne of ethiopia, by wearing a crown or by bloodline- only by manifesting Jah's work are you able to achieve this authority .

What is it that makes the man worthy of being remember and emulated because of who he is , or the works he has performed ?
Do you believe he did these works because of a gift given him at birth or that he strive and struggle to achieve those ends ?

This I cannot deny , that maybe Howell saw HIM as Jah on earth , Which was contrary to his immediate mentors . Who instead saw him as a the focal point for the regrowth of Black pride and dignity . Maybe what Howell was seeing is the new messiah , to lead his people to freedom , for in HIM being a emperor the potential for this reality became real- here is a black man who rules an empire much like Moses and David , from who loins he springs , possessing and army and lands filled with untold riches . If he be the Messiah then it stands to reason that he is Jah on Earth just as the christians see Jesus as God on earth . All that was now needed was an EXODUS(repatriation) of the people to the promise land(ethiopia-the new Jerusalem-shsahmali) - a recreation of the biblical story , it must then be a divine revelation .
