you seem to forget two major things in my opinion :
no rastamen without Ras Tafari . ( How could Selassie then be a tool ? )
and
people are not started givin praise to HIM in the 80' or now ...since Howell many a go see Selassie Divine and sit and give praises to HIM .
But i found to be very true the first comment you made , i can see how the westernization is takin place , always more , even christianization , yes .
And this in my opinion too, could be bad .
