In Response To: Re: Seeking to understand Zimbabwe (gman)

I am not into this equally disgusting line at all. I am not refuting everything that is said about Mugabe or Zimbabwe. Read my post again for my position. I never posted anything about what you are talking about. And even if I heard it, I am not posting about that, especially while I am aware that we are not getting fair reports from and about Zimbabwe in the international press. I am not adding one thing to what are regular malicious reports about what is taking place in Zimbabwe, coming from people who are no better (if not worse) by their own words and deeds. All these mainstream media sources sold one line about Iraq and Venezuela. We here were refuting them all along, but it is only recently most other people are finding out they were all bogus.

Look at today’s reports about elections in Zimbabwe. All of the reports are carbon copies of the US and UK’s propaganda. Several African nations were allowed to witness the elections, but in the face of that, most of the US/Eurocentric reports are calling the elections fraud without supplying corroborative evidence. They are not able to see what is taking place on the ground, and they are of the racist view that African nations cannot monitor other African nations. In their view African nations need US/European powers to validate their political process, although their (US/Europe) election processes have proven to be corrupt.

The point is this; I can show that most of these critics, except one anarchist who consistently makes valid criticisms of Mugabe, are not being fair or honest. Their motives are quite skewed, so I am not buying anything from them.

I am not debating the timing of seizing the land at this point in time, but Mugabe would have been silly, from a social and political point of view, if he did not agree with those who were calling for the lands to be taken. It was time to put an end to the long drawn out bogus 'negotiations' (stalling) process. If it was not for the sanctions that were imposed, the ongoing US and British financial manipulations, and the drought in Zimbabwe, much could have been different.

(This report was carried in different ways in other media sources but the US government did not answer to the charges. The US stopped speaking about the embassy personnel, who they first claimed were beaten, immediately after this news came out.)
