I am here for personal reasons, life has to go on even in the circumstances that Zimbabwe faces. From this land I have been able to do more for my family and for the Rastafarian people than I could have if I was over there. The decision to stay here for a while was made in consulation with the whole family, including my late father who then returned to Zimbabwe.
I do not know what you mean by heaping insults on Blacks in the West. Perhaps you would care to elaborate on that. I think you are also prone to the folly of placing people in one basket.
The experiences of Zimbabwe have been real and personal until 2002, when I came over here. However, the very fact that I am still here make them very real and personal. I want to go back home. But I can't go back home just yet. I want to leave the UK, but perhaps my destination will be another country, I have my sights on Ethiopia.
"It is the efforts of theses brothers and sisters to raise the consciousness of Africans in the West that will prevent the ignorant ones from being used when the so-called 'whites' decide the time has come to physically re-occupy Africa." Who are these ignorant ones- Zimbabweans?
Have you ever been to Zimbabwe? Do you know anyone from Zimbabwe? Unogona kutaura here mitauro yedu? Tsika dzedu, magariro edu, uhnu hwedu ungaunzwisise here? Chinozokupa kuda kuzviita mumwe wedu chii?
