I do not deny that non-Zimbabweans are concerned, but there is a limit as to how much of that concern we can appreciate, especially when you are actually seen to endorse Mugabe's regime. Look at the tone of the postings of many of Zimbabwe's critics. I am to understand from them that
1. Mugabe is cool because the West hates him.
2. They know more about Zimbabwe than me. They cannot even pronounce the country's name right!
3. I am opposing Mugabe because I am being paid by Tony Blair to do so.
Being Youruba is fine, we love Yorubas. But that is still very far from Zimbabwe.
