I basically think that people can see that short people will experience the most pressure. My premise takes it further, and deals with appropriate leadership in movements for addressing the issue.
Applying your analogy, the shortest person would be experiencing the most pressure from being short. He may develop other characteristics as a defense mechanism to cope, but if he wakes up, learns of his experiences and can express himself he would know and be able to share the most about the effects of the system on short people.
As I said, "…if he wakes up (becomes conscious)," as a leader he would be able to ensure the focus remains on the depth of the issues that affect short people, he would be able to easily identify with the worst victims and thus offer relief to everyone from the worst victims’ point of view. Short people will not be able to cry “Height-ism” because they would have a leader who identifies with their problems.
One of the problems the short leader would face is people's negative attitudes (including that of short ones) towards a short leader. Many, who feel they are taller, even by a fraction of an inch, could be challenging the leadership based on superiority complexes, and those who are short could be challenging him based on the inferiority conditioning that taller is better.
If a majority of short people are suffering and are aware that it is as a result of the policies and attitudes of tall people, then the short leader may have sufficient supporters that are so motivated to help him succeed. With this support he could override the attempts to block progress based on the inferiority and superiority complexes of both short and tall ones.
Outside of those rare circumstances, if a short leader fails, how do they measure the tremendous pressure that both tall and short ones brought to bear on his leadership that resulted in his failure?
