Re: Bantu Keilani, you are so right

A lot of times it's just the kettle calling the pot black. There was plantation slavery in some parts of Africa and also mixed bred Africans. Yet, there are truths in some observations. The example of a one only cognizant of skin color as identity and nothing else demonstratesn racyst victimisation compounded with ignorance, on the part of the victim. All of us are subject to the institutions of our environment and as a group portray similar impact and outcome over generations in dealing with the same situations.

A family which moves from the Continent to the US will experience their children having the attitude of the native born African American due to socialization and the interaction in school. By the time their grand children grow up in the US, there is hardly a dicernable difference between them and other African Americans. Today, the pervasive media has eliminated the necessity to move physically across borders. The destruction of native and traditional cultures, along with their national institutions gains momentum every day.
Some times it's how far the rot has spread or the progression of decay. The formula the downpressors use on InI is the same in most cases. They are'nt that geniuses to have reinvented the wheel several times. Specific local populations might show uniqueness in dealing with the oppression. So overall, the effects might be more sustainable due to the cultural resilience of an African mojority society;, but with cultural erosion overtime will yield the same end results.
