Which came first, the Torah or the Rig Veda? The caste system is older than Judaism methinks (I ent frighten to call them by name).
Actually I think the potential for such ideology has always existed in humans; xenophobia is the negative flip side of group solidarity. Certainly some cultures emphasize it more than others. Jews being one such but certainly not the only one.
