Yes we miss the person in the flesh who we have loved and cared for. However the first law in thermo dynamics, is that energy is never lost or destroyed. It is merely transfered from one object to the next. So is reincarnation a faslehood? There is no such thing as death, it is only a transition from one state to another.
Personally I feel that the body should be given a funeral. I feel that the body should be taken care of as done in the Ible. (You are aware of the Ible's rituals right?)
