"Talking to myself alot"...yes,if there is no one near who feels it too the Creation does and hears your voice, no matter.
Those who have ears will hear and eyes to see the beautiful tiny seed which can yield so much and the whole of the Creation praising the Creator in a moment.
Whilst others go about their ways oblivious in their vanity as you say,and continue on with planting their own seeds of corruption.
This is not the first civilization on the earth, nor is it the most splendid. Where are they all now but returned to the earth broken. Unfortunately all those centuries of lessons seem to be lost despite the amount of words written about them in history classes and the ideas taken are just repetitious and nonsensical so much of the time.
Every opportunity in the knowledge and memories of the past for real change are there for the taking. It is a pity nontheless but the imbalance simply cannot continue surely.
