Q: Black that straightens hair lacking self-esteem?
A: YES.
Q: White that dread their hair lacking self-esteem?
A: Depends if their hair knot up naturally or not. If they are putting things in it and going to all kinds of lengths to change the natural texture of their hair, then YES.
Q: Black that doesn't like rap rejecting his/her Blackness? White that likes reggae rejecting his/her whiteness?
A: No. Music is music. I mean, there's country-and-western songs I like whose singers are probably racist-ass rednecks, but I could still enjoy the music. (By the way country and western has many African roots, like virtually all forms of popular music.)
