I personally see that educating ourselves about past "sins" (Hebrew: "to miss the mark") of our species does not mean we have to have self-hate for the pigment Our Creator gave to our skin, nor our pre-Roman Christian, "pagan" and heathen (Earth Dweller) history. Every one suffered the fate of Rome.
