I see Disciple's point but definitely agree with Oshun on this one (based on what I've seen on the thread so far - ain't read every post and won't get a chance to today).
A bicycle is technology, it doesn't atrophy my natural strength, in fact it increases my natural strength, and it doesn't diminish my ability to walk.
Many many people use boats but are also strong swimmers. I grew up in 'the land of many waters', I know that for a fact!
Outboard engine boats kill manatees and emit pollutants... rowboats don't... they are both technology.
The creation of fire is technology, it can destroy, maim and kill, or it can keep you alive in sub-freezing temperatures.
