It is not just the female deities of the nations- Isis, Semiramis, Shakti etc that I reject, but their male counterparts- Baal, Shiva etc. There is to be no Deity other than Rastafari- who, being the incarnation of Ish-m is Ish-m.
This has nothing to do with my perception of women in their various capacities as wife, mother, sister, daughter etc. Virtually all the women known to me find the idea of a goddess as abhorrent as I do.
