Re: True Unity Must Be Cultivated by The African R

***I personally dont think that "fighting against a capitalist" system is the answer, unless one narrows their approach and defines what aspect of the capitalist system that one is fighting.***

Was 'narrowing' of the fight against slavery necessary to 'think' that fighting it as a system was the answer? I don't think your 'reason' for 'accepting the status quo' is a valid one...but I can understand wanting more detail for actual implementation... implementation can only be discussed with those actively participating.

Capitalism is the gentleman's slavery -Kwame Nkrumah.

***Is it the IMF/World Bank/Nepad/the mining industry, etc...what aspect of the capitalist system are you suggesting that one fight against.***

All of it. Each individual in their own organizational role can pick and choose what aspect one must 'specialize' in. Just like capitalism has it's different 'mechanisms' so does the fight against it. Each person has their own talents, and their own areas of expertise...so does each level/form/structure of organization. Personally, one of my 'current' roles in organizing is part of the 'propoganda army', ideologically spreading info to the masses to politically educate, or as you call it 'spouting rhetoric '....lol. It's a natural role for me because my background is in education. But there are lawyers, doctors, economists, technicians, chemists, architects, military experts ect. ect., quite active in fullfilling their 'roles' and applying their expertise.

***If the fight isnt contextualized to include a clear definition of the 'fight' along with a cost/benefit analysis of the rational for the specific fight, then ones, in my opinion are just spouting rhetoric about fighting against the "capitalist system.***

The problem is you want inside information of what level of organization and what form of implementation the process is on, or the level of planning in specified areas. You can't(and shouldn't) get said info unless you are 'active' within an anti-capitalist organizational structure, or at least dealing with it on a level beyond the internet. I've heard said info internally, but it is not my area of expertise to explain, nor is that my role to explain.

Also, I find your request for a cost benefit analysis for 'rational' a rather strange one. The cost/benefit analysis of global capitalism is quite obvious(and has been explained, not that it needed to be), the masses remain poor so the few elite can benefit. Or are you talking about a cost/benefit analysis for the few people who manage to eat some scraps off of master's table? Are you talking about the cost/benefit for bourgeoise individuals? Would you prefer to have the option/possibility under capitalism to be a rich slave while the masses continue to suffer? Some people do...

Oh, also, just because people have no choice to currently participate or rather, have their labour exploited under this system, does not make them a capitalist. To be a capitalist on must have the accumulated CAPITOL that comes from the exploitation itself. Only the elite who own the means of production are the capitalists. Those that are oppressed and exploited under said system are not 'capitalists'.

You seem to have already created your opinion without information that "you personally dont think that "fighting against a capitalist" system is the answer"...I don't know if you do not think it is possible, or if you are basing your opinion on your mis-informed idea that one can't 'own a buisiness' outside of a capitalist system(which is highly inaccurate). Or if you are basing your opinion on a pure lack of information and investigation of other economic/political options...You can't expect to get the answers you seek by the internet.
