my opinion is this. i don't think Rastafari is exclusionary - it is obvious that there are many different peoples in the trod.
what i have learned though is that the focus of African liberation and self-determination is often at odds with the conditioning that some have and thus makes it harder for ones to uphold this central tenent of the Rastafari movement to the high degree which is required.
i can sight this as a reason why some may want to keep some orders of Rastafari as exclusively black and i respect that.
