you are right, i should not have used the word "who" when explaining my point of view. that word should have been left out(and can be construed in that context to mean something similar to the missionary vibe of "defending" others coming from a white person). it is important to be aware of the words we use - something inadvertant can carry large connotations by others, and it is important that we are very clear with what we say, taking into consideration the wordsoundpower of what it is we are saying. thanks for calling that one out.

what i was trying to communicate was something which i assume is conjured when the phrase "Africa for the Africans at home and abroad" is used. i have taken that phrase to be an expression of equal rights and justice for all peoples - with no infringement on the sovereignty of one on by the other - Marcus Garvey said "Africa for the Africans, Europe for the Europeans, Asia for the Asians" - to me that phrase encompasses this philosophy - including all levels from the microcosm of the personal universe to the greater macrocosm - reflections of one another.

it is very easy to intellectualize these ideas in comparison to the work it takes.
