Greeting Untojah,
We do have to look straight at who we are, and that means our place in the context of the world. It doesn't work to say well I am pink hue....color has been defined in our society. We are white. To legitametly address the issues of racism and white supremacy, both inside ourselves and the world around us, we have to be real and honest. We will be unsuccesful if we don't take it as it is and break ourselves down. What have we internalized from the society that marinaded us in feeling better than and obliviant, reaping privilege and benefits? What are we made of? In character/integrity? ... such as real living processes designed by the creator, catabolic reaction, looking at each molecule and expelling the toxins. Nourishment ... building up in what is true and just ... to forward on to more living.
It is good that you are posing these questions to our fellow whites ... It is a Continual examination and action also within ourselves.
