I will attempt to answer you question specifically. I would not want my last response to seem like I am evading the questions.

I guess it has been established that positions of dominance and control has always existed. It has to exist unabused/unoppressive first in order for it to "become" oppressive.

I can not give you the name of such a society. The point that hierarchy naturally occurs was my point of the inquiry.

The parameters should be based on who is has the particular abilities and characteristics of a leader. It should be decided by the people of that culture and society. I believe that leaders are born and not made.

I think merit should be more a deciding factor than blood lineage, prophecy, etc. I do believe that the leader should be representative of the people who he/she leads. In other words, I dont think europeans should be the leaders of Afrikan people.
