TenaYistillin Wendem (Greetings Brother)
I overstand and raspect your descision.
However, I do think tolerance is necessary when trying to see other's viewpoint.
As Qedamawi Haile Selassie said, "A nation that does not tolerate dissent is destined to fail."
This is the same with individuals.
When I first came into knowledge of self and Afrikan ourstory, I used to have less tolerance for people and what I perceived as their ignorance. This was in the real world and not on the internet.
All this did was make I frustrated all the time because I couldnt overstand why they could not grasp, or did not want to grasp my sights. I tended to shun away those who I did not think was on my level, missing a potential learning opportunity.
But thru time I came to realeyes that everything is not just black and white. There are shades of grey as well.
I overstand that you like to balance equations. But what u seem to not want to sight is that many different computations and derivation are sometimes necessary in order to balance an equation. There are many different approaches that can be used.
This is likened to the varying viewpoints, opinions and experiences that people hold on this forum. They may not seemingly be on the same path, when really they are just choosing other methods and derivations.
To only seek the end of the equation, what you sight as universal, causes one to skip some of the steps that are necessary to come to the solution. I think it is necessary, prudent, and practical to take slices and instances in ones life to have a better understanding of the problem. We cant examine the whole without overstanding the individual parts.
Telling someone to seek Ma'at (wholeness) without examining the parts (1's) is a mistake in my opinion.
A cipher is 360 degrees. One must overstand each degree before they can reach 360 overstanding.
With Ma'at, there is temperence. This is very important when dealing with people. Even though you dont agree, or dont overstand what angle someone is coming from, does not mean that there is a problem with the person. They may have taken a different approach. This does not make them wrong. That does not make them any less intelligent or knowlegeable about the problem.
If you truly feel that you can learn from anyone, then you would be as a student and try to learn from them.
When it is time to become teacher, you have to be able to translate your ideas in a way that the students will be receptive to receiving them. If you dont, you will turn away a potential teaching opportunity and that student never learns what you are trying to teach.
As far as you leaving, that is not my desire. I have learned from you and I am sure I will continue to learn from you. I am sure others feel the same way too.
Myself and others, only want you to be more tolerant, temperant, and patient with others.
Seek knowledge before vengeance.
That is something we all have to be reminded of.
So throw down your arms and come.
And Tiqur Leb (One black heart)
P.S: I know I vowed to never raspond to you again but I feel it is more important to help a brotha who I feel is in need than holding on to a silly grudge. I really hope you overcome the jihad (struggle) with self. Your international family are here to assist if needed. Bless
