I thank you for the reasoning. It is not that I was asking why, it was really that I was asking if in fact hierarchies are man mande, which you clearly said so.
Regardless of the reason why, you gave examples of how and why human hierarchies are poisonous.
I want to highlight what you said about how a lion who "rules" the jungle can go to a watering hole and get eaten by the alligator. And I wanted to add how that same alligator can be overcome by a microscopic organism. The point is that even with order amongst the animals, there is not one that is "above" or "beneath" the other. Above or beneath in the context of food chain, sure, but not above or beneath in value to the ecosystem of favor with God/Nature.
As you said, man-made hierarchial order causes much turmoil and folly. And it especially is dangerous when man adds or uses the religious or divine justification card. That way it is unchallengeable and ones would be subject to much persecution if they spoke out...either way, there is a price to pay for questioning or challenging hierarchy...even though it is natural to do so.
So it is no mystery that conflict is a result from the actions of those who feel that they have rights to their biddings. Let us remember that the power behind the invasion of black lands and abduction of black persons was directly attributed to the divine authorization of the highest ranking religious leader in Eruope at the time, the Pope. The Pope got that title/position via religious means, citing a line of ones appointed to such authority starting with Simon Peter.
All one has to do is look at any worldwide conflict, and you will uncover hierarchial seekings and justification. And unfortunately, in my opinion, it begins with the convoluted mindset of misapplying "as above, so below" in relation to the male monotheistic personification of God. All tyrants are doing is seeking to manifest here on Earth (below) what they see as in heaven (above).
In all fairness, I also unfortunately understand how difficult it is and how it would stop someone dead in their tracks from agreeing with such critical thoughts on hierarchies because it contradicts or challenges their cherished belief (not knowledge, but belief) system.
It is not easy to try to digest word/thought that may suggest that their Deity is based on unfounded and unjustified contrived hierarchial constructs such as royalty (lineage, bloodline). To challenge someone's belief system which has been incorporated into their identity means that the challenge is a challenge to one's reality. It is VERY hard to undertake such truthseeking when we have been conditioned all of life to welcome comfort whether it is truthful or not.
It is especially disturbing to realize that our oppression is so engrained in every aspect of life. Aspects that we have grown accustomed to and do not want to change or challenge. No mystery that there is no liberation progress. There can be no liberation unless no stone is left unturned...and the ultimate protectionist mechanism attached to our religious instillations is NOT TO TURN THAT STONE OVER.
If we look around us, EVERYTHING is about hierarchy...and with a limited perspective, Nature would seem hierarchial, but not with a universal perspective.
Even though the Universe is the house of God...someone convinced us that a man-made ediface called a church is God's house
Even though every second of every day is God's, someone convinced us that Sunday (kweisi) is the Lord's day (for others it is Saturday (kwame)
Even though many have done so and can achieve KRST, we are convinced that only ONE man in ONE particular part of the entire Earth was the ONLY SON of God...whether you call him Jesus or Yshua.
Even though the entire Earth is of creation, we are convinced that one location is holy land.
I could go on and on but the point remains that as long as we accept hierarchy as business as usual and as natural, we are doomed to allow it to be applied to us AND for the implementors of such thought to have an easy time perpetuating their ranks and rulings to our children and grandchildren.
May we further the reasoning.
