Greetings Disciple
Has there ever been a nation which did not have some kind of authority over the ranks of people...whether it be a king or a council of elders?
I thing egotism is much more than physical. The physical always first start with the mental. I think egotism is a function of mental superiority complex. An egotist wants to make everything in his/her own image..i.e imagination.
Imagination (from etymology online): to form a mental picture to oneself, imagine..."faculty of the mind which forms and manipulates images"
So with your inclusion of egotism with hierarchy, it would seem that hierarchy all starts with mental and spiritual ideas/images prior to manifesting in the physical.
In Kemet (yes kemet..lol), at the Mystery lodge of Osirica, their was a spiritual hierarchy that the intiates in the school were a part of: 1) MORTALS, i.e probationary students who had not received the inner vision; 2)INTELLEGENCES who has attained the inner vision; and 3) SONS OF LIGHT who had become unified with light/true spiritual consciousness.
Are mental and spiritual hierarchy a natural function of man?
And is that not a prelude to a physical hierarchy?
Sorry about the constant hierarchy questions but I am seeking the answers...answers with some kind of evidence to point to if possible.
It is very easy to romanticize ancient livity without any concrete evidence to back it up.
Just like the reasonings that man may have not been natural vegetarians made some people uncomfortable, I know this one does too.
