Your logic is flawed. John CANNOT be conscious (experienced and well-informed) and be a crack addict at the same time. Either we have vastly different meanings for conscious, or you have lowered your idea of its meaning to paint dark-skin Blacks in a poor light.

Typically, in your example, you associated the dark-skin one in the worst case scenario against a light-skin one in the best scenario. Even if you do that, the work of the one who felt they are better informed should be to assist in uplifting the one who is lesser informed so they can rise to their fullest potential instead of attempting to rule over them.

Also, if a dark-skinned Black gets well-informed (not necessarily in a school), broadly understands the issues and can articulate them, even if any light-skinned person is well-informed and has the academic background, he or she cannot have a greater depth of experiences of the problems to be addressed.

Dark-skin Blacks do NOT have more of a propensity to use drugs than light-skin or white folks. All dark-skin Blacks are not junkies.
