The key word is Systemic; hence institutional and you being a sociologist your analysis and conclusions are easy to discern. It seems that others do have a problem given their levels of study, experience and institutional interaction and socilization. Those who are lacking the insight, should remember and keep your conclusions in the back of their heads. And as they go through life's experience, compare and analyse the realities of our existence.

N.B. An area where we disagree is who feels this downpression the most; male or female? This we can debate ad infinitum. I will grant one factor like most situations, it depends on the circumstances.
