Re: What is the contention about?

You said: “We often generalize that white/european people are the devil.”

For the record, I do not speak like that.

You continuously quote and buy into clichés like, “There is an exception to every rule” and you want to make everything fit that. But even that cliché explains the point that there are exceptions. So there are even exceptions to that cliché.

PRIVILEGE is not necessarily about who has the most money, and SYSTEMATIC discriminations affects ALL dark-skin Blacks, even if they have financial resources.

A dark-skin kinky-hair Black with financial resources is still more sensitive to SYSTEMATIC discriminations that affect Blacks than light-skin folks.

The fact that MANY dark-skin Blacks have been conditioned to NOT pay attention to their senses, living in denial because most people do not pay attention to their experiences does not mean they cannot wake up. They can get back in touch with their natural senses and learn to articulate them to be of greater use to themselves and the world. Because of unaddressed racism and colorism many people cannot appreciate well-informed dark-skin Blacks.

Because I understand the impact the system has on more sensitive dark-skin Blacks, especially what they have to struggle through to first be able express their truths and then have people take them seriously, I do not join folks in bashing uninformed dark-skin Blacks. Most people do not grasp why they hold on to things that are dangerous to them. The whole corrupt world moves to light-skin preferences and continually knocks the senses of more aware dark-skin folks, so I do understand why many take long to wake up. I am usually more patient with them.
