Rastafari Speaks

Re: Jah Rastafari in thre persons

Greetings Judah

I read your response and duly noted the contents therein.

I don't intend to come across negative, but I feel I have to touch upon some of the issues contained therein.

Lets accept then, that there has been a departure from the original plan of how we were supposed to live- in harmony.

In the event, I don't accept that I have a responsibility whatsoever, for whatever disobedience (as you put it) which took place in them times! I see that point of view to be the nonsense that they have hammered into the heads of society over time, to put them under manners.

(please note I do not aim any criticism at you as an individual, it's just aimed at the concept you refer to. As they say when a person burns ROME?BABYLON aka THE SYSTEM, one must not have an individual in mind, one is denouncing the system including the concepts behind the system)!

The lawlessness you refer to I agree with as it's indeed the by-product of the system in one sense, and yet it is a well thought out phase in their objective of over-all control.

When you check the lawlessness it's all aimed at the innocent, whether it be organised lawlessness (national/governmental) or the urban lawlessness which again aimed at the innocent individual in the most callous of ways!

But that is all part of the programme, Jesus is supposed to have shed blood in-order to wipe away sin! That being the case, does it then mean that; all the violence since the martyrdom of Jesus doesn't matter because he died to save us?!!
Or does it mean that he was atoning for the sins that had happened up to the time of his death?
The question therefore IS HOW DOES THAT Actually WORK???

The incarnation of Jesus in Bethlehem, personally I don't accept the Jesus story, but I will accept that the idea I think he was trying to put forward wasn't a bad one -compared to
what we have now. But therein lies the folly, It is MEN that have taken the concept and invented a GOD/Religion around it and it is that, which has lead us to where we are now!

To touch upon the point you allude to -They hanged the man on a "tree", but yet in the preceding chapters he was hung on a cross???

I think you actually do touch upon an important issue - The shedding of blood, I notice that most Rasta appear to choose (of their own choice) the way of life the live, Not many are
forced into that life-choice and there are not many leaders (Bishops etc) who are telling a one what to do. That is not a bad thing, particularly when compared to other religions that kill
to make their point, it seems that the spilling of blood is central to the spreading of their system. Which is not the harmonious way I believe that we should be living while we passing through this stage of the journey!

In summary I feel that the Jesus thing was something that was plausible then, but now it is what it is, an outdated mode of control, which is still being used by those who seek to justify - what they simply just don't know!
