I don't necessarily follow the reasoning you are giving. H.I.M. is supposed to be descended from David, which indicates that H.I.M is on a lineage. He is not the first of the lineage.
Given that we all stem from one source then I can see what you are saying, but chronologically speaking I don't think that your interpretation is correct! Unless you are saying that H.I.M. Selassie I was around in them longer times?
I do not mean that in a disrespectful way, perhaps you will enlighten me with a response.
