I guess it is easy to say "so what" when one is enjoying the benefits of living in the west, typing on a keyboard, while drinking a latte.
It is not so easy to say "so what" if you are struggling for food, shelter, water, etc on a DAILY basis in a so called third world nation.
What we see as "hypothetical" is very much reality for them.
They dont have to talk about "inevitable" and "down the line" because their inevitable and down the line is today.
