In the long run, yes, but we must overstand that lifeforms NATURALLY resist death by any and all means at its disposal.
When a person is sick or injured, the course of nature attempts to whole/heal that person. When a person faces a survival threat, they kick into another level.
I am not arguing the attachment of death to life. I am arguing that life is attempted by all resourceful means until extinguished.
This applies to all life. There is no life that leans towards the propensity for death. The edge goes towards the attempt to sustain, not perish.
