Disagreeing and making points to justify what one disagrees about is not an argument.
To I it is a reasoning/debate.
An argument is when one does not take the time to reason (see/hear other's viewpoint) because all they can see and hear is what is coming out of their own mouth.
If you see our exchange as an argument, then I see no point in continuing.
