I agree that global warming and cooling has always been a part of the earth cycle. All it takes is a degree or so change in the average global temperature to create a drastic climate change. Many nations and empires have collapsed (and risen) due to climate changes.

I think that the current global warming pattern is not man-made but has been exascerbated by human involvement.

GLOBAL WARMING is used as a scare tactic and as a means to make money. Imagine if the ones in control of the global warming agenda invested their money in industries that they know will result from the GW panic. Green cars (hybrids), green food (organics), green houses, and green energy are a few examples.

As far as extinction goes, there has been mass extinctions before due to climate. According to scientists, in this modern era, fauna and flora are becoming extinct at a 10 to 100 times greater rate than the past.

This is mainly due to man's desire to control nature. This includes bacteria and viruses.
